The Mentoring Service
The Mentoring Service is a new programme managed by Business in the Community Ireland, in partnership with the Irish Prison Service, and funded by the Dormant Accounts Fund.It provides one-to-one practical and emotional support to prisoners before and after release. In addition, the development of a one-to-one trusting relationship between the mentor and the client enables the mentor to challenge the client, encouraging personal responsibility and a commitment to change.
