- Our Programmes

EPIC (Employment for People from Immigrant Communities) is BITCI's innovative programme which is targeted at legally resident EU and Non-EU adults. Our aim is to assist this target group with securing employment, training and education.
Ready for Work (RFW) is one of Ireland's most innovative social programmes. It provides work experience and guidance to people who are looking to move on from homelessness into employment or training. Through RFW, businesses in Ireland are able to make a direct impact on the lives of homeless people by providing a realistic experience of the world of work as part of a structured and supportive programme.
Adding value to the Department of Education & Science 'School Completion Programme' this programme aims to positively impact on educational inclusion and address key issues in areas of educational disadvantage in Ireland.
In 2000, The Linkage Service was initially set up as a pilot scheme and was funded by the Probation Service under the National Development Plan. The aim was to prepare, plan, and implement Training and/or Employment placement for offenders referred to the programme by the Probation Service. In September 2000 The Linkage Service became a joint project between Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) and the Probation Service with support from IBEC, the Small Firms Association and ICTU.
The Mentoring Service is a programme managed by Business in the Community Ireland, in partnership with the Irish Prison Service, and funded by the Dormant Accounts Fund. It provides one-to-one practical and emotional support to prisoners before and after release. In addition, the development of a one-to-one trusting relationship between the mentor and the client enables the mentor to challenge the client, encouraging personal responsibility and a commitment to change.
The Gate Service is a prison based guidance and placement service funded by the Irish Prison Service
