April 2008: Business in the Community Ireland welcomes Irish Life & Permanent's Corporate Responsibility Report

Business in the Community Ireland today welcomed Irish Life & Permanent's fourth annual Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report.

Irish Life & Permanent are a lead member of Business in the Community Ireland and their 2007 Report is titled, “Corporate Responsibility Report 2007…becoming a values driven company”.The report includes key highlights from IL & P's environmental, community, marketplace and workplace practices and this latest report is the first to have undergone an external verification.

Welcoming the report, Tina Roche, Chief Executive of BITCI, said, “IL & P are to be congratulated for developing its latest CR Report. We welcome this report as a statement of the company's commitment to transparency and accountability across the board and especially welcome the comprehensive section on customer satisfaction as we believe this is a key area Irish companies need to address”.
