October 13th: EPIC Programme Graduation

BITCI's National Corporate Responsibility Week takes place from 12th to the 16th of October. As part of this week long series of events, a special celebration of the EPIC programme will take place.

Over 100 participants of the EPIC Programme (Employment for People from Immigrant Communities), BITC's hugely successful social inclusion programme, will graduate on October 13th. Certificates of Completion will be presented by Mr. John Curran T.D., Minister for Integration.

The EPIC Programme,a Dublin based project, assists people from immigrant communities to find employment or enter further training and education. The EPIC Programme is funded by the Office of the Minister for Integration and managed by Business in the Community Ireland in partnership with Spirasi. Business associates include BT and CPL.

Graduates of the programme represent 51 countries and cover four continents. To date in 2009, the programme has assisted 137 people from immigrant communities to secure employment and/or further education or training in Ireland.
