Lead Membership
Lead membership covers:
• One-to-one advisory services on development and implementation of a Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategy across all the pillars. Depending on your company’s needs, our work may cover Community, Environment, Workplace, Marketplace or CR strategy, performance measurement and reporting. Our consultants typically engage with a CR steering group that represents the range of business functions in the member company e.g. HR, Facilities, Procurement, Marketing, and Communications. We offer a bespoke service, driven by business objectives, and our support is not time-limited but is focused on delivering the outcomes and success criteria that have been agreed. • Free access to seminars, workshops and networking events throughout the year. The purpose of these is to build awareness of best practice and provide practical guidance that can be applied immediately in the areas of community, workplace, marketplace, environment and CR reporting. These events are peer to peer and offer members excellent networking, profiling and leadership opportunities. Audiences range from small masterclasses of10 to 15 to large seminars with 50+ attendees and accommodate different staff levels. These events are also profiling opportunities through hosting and/or speaking opportunities.

• CEO events. These are exclusive, high profile events that look to inspire the very highest level of business leaders to take on best practice lessons in CR. Attendance is free but by invitation only, however speaking opportunities arein demand. Events last year included:
- CEO forum on Climate change
- Seeing is Believing tours – profiling best practice in an area of CR, hosted by a member company CEO who invites local CEOs to attend.Last year they included a tour of inner city Dublin community projects,led by KPMG, and tours of environmental best practice at Intel Ireland in Leixlip and Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals in Ringaskiddy.

- BITCI has an excellent level of engagement with government at several levels, including ministerial and we represent our members when doing so, including presentations at Oireachtas Committees.
Tax Deductible
Through Sections 848A and 87A of the Taxes Consolidation Act 2001, the annual donation is allowable as a deductible trading expense or an expense of management when computing profits for corporation tax.
