Being a member of Business in the Community Ireland is a tangible way of showing an organisation's commitment to being a good corporate citizen working in partnership for a better Ireland.

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) has the unique expertise to train and develop capacity on Corporate Responsibility (CR) within your organisation; to improve your company's reputation, competitiveness and profitability through communicating your social, environmental, community management impacts.

Consultancy services include:

• Corporate Responsibility Integration (CRI) - Companies are supported to enhance their competitiveness by measuring, improving and reporting their stakeholder impact, concentrating on the areas of Marketplace, Workplace, Environment and Community. The measurement indicators used are the "Winning with Integrity Framework" (BITC UK), the SME Key (CSR Europe) and the Global Reporting Initiative.
• Corporate Community Involvement (CCI) - Companies are supported to strategise their current ad hoc community practices. Current activities such as financial giving, resource donations and employee involvement are examined and a strategy developed to combine these resources into a programme for maximum impact in the community.

Membership of BITCI is available at 2 different levels; Lead membership and Standard membership.

As Business in the Community Ireland is a non-profit organisation, the annual membership fee your organisation contributes is a charitable donation, exempt of VAT.
