Tina Roche

CEO
Tina Roche was appointed Chief Executive of The Foundation for Investing in Communities in January 2000. She established two organisations - The Community Foundation for Ireland and Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI).

Tina has supported the agenda on Corporate Social Responsibility through the establishment of Business in the Community. She has overseen the development of Employment for People from Immigrant Communities (EPIC), the Schools Business Partnership, The Linkage Programme (ex-offender placement) and Ready for Work encouraging business action on homelessness.

Tina has a MBA from IMI/Fordham and has many years business experience having worked as Financial Controller and Company Secretary with The Sunday Tribune. Previous to her present role she worked for The National Gallery as Head of Development 1994 to 1999. Her main interest is in philanthropy, human rights, education, community activism, corporate responsibility, and social capital.

Paddy Richardson

Manager, Employment Programmes
Prior to his employment in 2000 with Business In the Community Ireland, Paddy spent almost 20 years in various roles in the Disability sector; as an Instructor, Senior Supervisor, Marketing manager, and Service manager in a training and sheltered employment service for people with mental and physical disabilities, in the Mid-Western Health Board area.

He is currently responsible for three employability programmes; the Linkage programme for ex-offenders and prisoners, the Ready For Work programme for homeless persons, and the EPIC programme for people from immigrant communities.

In his former political life as an Independent Councillor, he was, for nine years an executive member of the Association of Municipal Authorities of Ireland where he had a particular role in the reform of local government and finance and a wide range of social and economic issues relating to marginalised people.

Paddy holds an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, Dip.MS, Dip. Social Policy & Criminology from the Open University.

Germaine Noonan

Manager, Schools’ Business Partnership
Germaine joined BITC in March 2003 and is seconded to her role from Pobalscoil Rosmini in Drumcondra. Germaine spent almost 20 years teaching in Dublin, Clare and New York in the second level sector. She has previously managed Comenius (European Educational Projects) involving Austrian, Italian and Dutch schools. Germaine holds a MBS, B. Comm and H Dip in Education

Moira Horgan

Marketing Manager
Moira joined BITCI as Marketing Manager in February 2007. She is working with BITCI member companies and programme participants on a number of marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining BITCI, Moira was Head of Marketing at the Irish Film Board, Ireland’s national film funding agency and was responsible for raising the profile of the Irish film industry both nationally and globally. Moira has over 12 years experience in marketing; specialising in communications, event management and PR.

Tomás Sercovich

Manager-Membership Services
Tomás Sercovich has been working in Ireland in corporate responsibility strategy advisory services since 2002. His special areas of expertise are; European and international dimensions of corporate responsibility, measurement of stakeholder impact and corporate responsibility performance, communication of corporate responsibility initiatives, corporate responsibility amongst small and medium sized enterprises and corporate responsibility policy development advisory service for national government and local authorities.

Tomás represents the Irish government in the EU at the European Commission DG Enterprise Expert Group on Corporate Social Responsibility and SMEs on request of the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment, and also represents BITCI and member companies within CSR Europe and the EU Commission led Multi-Stakeholder Forum on CSR. He is a member of the Chambers Ireland Policy Council on CSR.
