With a core membership of almost 60 of Ireland's leading companies. BITCI has a very simple mission - to use its store of knowledge, networks and expertise to inspire, engage, support and challenge companies to make a positive impact on workplace, marketplace, community and the environment.

BITCI also works with hundreds of companies nationwide through its innovative social inclusion programmes. These programmes focus on two key themes; Employability of marginalised groups and Business Support for Education. BITCI have developed the following employability programmes: The Linkage Programme, Ready for Work, EPIC, The Mentoring Service and The Prisons Project targeting social inclusion. The Schools' Business Partnership is the business support for education programme.
